What is Skoolnix?
Skoolnix is cloud school management software (a school ERP) for Indian schools. It brings admissions, fees, attendance, exams, HR, parent communication and smart tools for teachers into one system with 40+ modules — hosted, updated and backed up for you.
What is Skoolnix SaaS 01?
SaaS 01 is the first release of Skoolnix as a fully hosted service. You pay one flat yearly plan for your school size; we run the servers, install every update, take nightly backups and support your staff.
How do we move from our current software or registers?
Send us your student, staff and fee data in Excel or CSV. We import it, set up your classes and fee structure, and train your staff. Most schools are running within days — it depends on how much data you have.
Do we need our own server or IT staff?
No. Skoolnix is hosted for you and runs in any browser. Parents and teachers can add it to their phone's home screen and get push notifications like an app.
Does it work for schools that aren't CBSE?
Yes. Choose CBSE, ICSE / ISC, a State board or Other when the school is set up — report cards, grade scales and menus follow the board you choose.
Can we manage more than one branch?
Yes. The Enterprise plan includes multi-branch management, so group administrators can see every branch while each campus runs its own admissions, fees and academics.
How is our data kept safe?
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, every login is limited by role permissions, staff sign-in can require a one-time code, the database is backed up automatically every night, and every software update is digitally signed. Each school also gets a ready-made privacy policy page with its own Grievance Officer, as the DPDP Act, 2023 requires.
Are there any extra charges?
No. There is no setup or installation fee and no per-student fee — only the flat yearly plan for your school size (GST extra). Setup, data import, training and updates are included. SMS, WhatsApp and payment-gateway charges are billed by those providers at their own rates.
Is there a per-student fee?
No. Plans are by school size, not per student. Your price stays the same as students join during the year, as long as you are within your plan's size.
